Student Residence Permit Application Process
        1. Application
► To apply for a residence permit, you must fill out the application form available on the Directorate General of Migration Management's website at ''https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/'', print out the Declaration for Student Residence Permit Registration Form, and sign it.

►You can make use of the guide prepared by the Directorate of Migration Management in five (5) languages regarding the application procedures.

 

       2. Preparation of Documents
►The documents required for the residence permit application have been published on the website https://intstudent.mu.edu.tr/en/documents, and all documents needed for the application must be carefully prepared.
 
►During the submission of the documents, the “Declaration/Control Document” available on the page https://intstudent.mu.edu.tr/en/documents must be filled out in three (3) copies and signed by writing your name and surname in the 'Foreign Student' section on the back page under 'Recipient'.
 


       3. Submission of Documents
►The required documents must be prepared in order within a transparent file (the Declaration/Control Document and biometric photos must be placed on top) and submitted to the International Relations Office at least 2 (two) days before the appointment date obtained from the e-residence system.
 
►The staff of the International Relations Office who receive the residence permit documents check the application files, prepare the residence permit request letter required to be issued by the Office for students with complete documents, and submit the documents to the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Migration Management with an official report.

       

       4. Evaluation of Documents by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management
►The student residence permit application documents submitted to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management are reviewed by the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
       

       5. Checking the Application Status
►Students applying for a Residence Permit Document can obtain information about their application results by clicking the ''I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MY APPLICATION RESULT'' link on the website ''https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/''.

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!! Procedures concerning residence permits are conducted by the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Migration Management t, and the International Relations Office is only responsible for submitting the documents of students applying for residence permits to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. The responsibility for the accurate preparation of documents, making declarations, and monitoring the process lies with the student.
