FOR THE ATTENTION OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS WHO WISH TO BENEFIT FROM UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE
Universal Health Insurance is not compulsory. However, international students who would like to benefit from this insurance (except for the international students with Scholarship), have to apply to Social Security Centers in Muğla until 29 November 2013
Those who do not apply for Universal Health Insurance within the mentioned time will not be able to benefit from this during their whole education period. This is legalized under the law 5510 article 60 paragraph 7.
Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University is only obliged to deliver the information and not liable for any harm that the international students can be subject to in case of not having the insurance in time.
The Universal Health Insurance regulations of the international students with scholarship will be done by the institution or corporation giving scholarship.”
